Clogher, County Tyrone. Growing trees since 1992.
Grown, cut and tied by hand on a Tyrone tree farm.
Finnegan Christmas Wreaths is the small, seasonal side of a family Christmas tree farm. The trees have been growing here for over thirty years. The wreaths are made from them.
The farm from the air, Clogher
How it started
It started with trees,
not wreaths.
The first Finnegan Christmas trees went into the ground at Clogher in 1992. What began as a small family venture is now a working farm with tens of thousands of trees, looked after all year round and cut fresh each winter.
We grow Noble Fir, Fraser Fir and Nordmann Fir. Nordmann is the favourite tree across the UK and Ireland for its shape and how well it holds its needles. Noble is the one wreath makers ask for: dense, blue-green and slow to drop.
The wreaths grew out of that. With fields of fir on the doorstep it made sense to cut the best of it and make something for the front door. That is still how it works. The foliage is cut on the farm and arranged by hand, in small batches, every winter.

Roisin McCrory
The maker
Every wreath passes through Roisin McCrory's hands.
Roisin makes the wreaths. She starts with a Noble or Nordmann fir base and builds each one up by hand with seasonal accents: cones, dried fruit, lotus pods, twisted hazel, rosemary and ribbon. The aim is balance and natural fragrance, a finish that looks elegant rather than overdone.
Because everything is made by hand from natural materials, no two are identical. The style and quality match the photographs; the small differences are part of the charm.
