Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By using finneganchristmaswreaths.com (the “Website”) or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Finnegan Christmas Wreaths (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-based family business supplying handmade Christmas wreaths, Christmas trees and florist-grade foliage.


2. Definitions
  • Customer/you – the person or business placing an order.

  • Products – handmade wreaths, Christmas trees, and foliage boxes offered on the Website.

  • Working Day – Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.


3. Scope & changes to these Terms

These Terms apply to all Website use and purchases. We may update them from time to time. The version in force when you order applies to that order.


4. Website use

You must not misuse the Website (upload malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, infringe IP). Content and imagery are protected by copyright; do not reproduce without permission.


5. Products & availability

All products are subject to availability and small natural variations (size, colour, foliage type and placement) due to the use of natural materials and handcrafted processes. Photographs are illustrative but representative of style and quality.


6. Pricing, VAT & accuracy

Prices shown are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We take care to ensure accuracy but may correct obvious errors. If a pricing error occurs after you order, we will contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund.


7. Ordering & contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we email you an order confirmation/dispatch notification. We may refuse or cancel an order (e.g., stock issues, address problems, payment concerns) with a full refund.


8. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must be authorised at the time of order. For security, payments are processed by approved payment providers.


9. Delivery & collection
9.1 Wreaths (posted UK-wide)
  • Free UK delivery on wreaths unless otherwise stated.

  • We pack wreaths securely to arrive ready to hang.

  • Standard timeframes are shown at checkout; peak-season volumes or courier delays may affect these estimates.

9.2 Christmas trees (local delivery)
  • Delivery routes and available postcodes are shown at checkout/Delivery Info.

  • Delivery windows are indicative; we’ll do our best to meet your preferred slot.

9.3 Foliage boxes (10 kg)
  • Shipped by courier or delivered locally (as shown at checkout).

  • Boxes should be stored cool on arrival and misted lightly.

9.4 Risk & title

Risk passes on delivery. Title passes when we receive full payment.


10. Cancellations & returns
10.1 Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10.2 Cooling-off (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Some of our products are perishable (fresh foliage/wreaths/trees) or made to order, which may limit the standard 14-day cancellation right. Where items are non-perishable and not customised, you may cancel within 14 days of delivery; you must return the item unused and in original packaging at your cost, and we will refund the product price (less any non-standard delivery upgrades) once received.

10.3 Perishable & made-to-order items
  • Wreaths, trees and fresh foliage are perishable. We can’t accept returns for a change of mind after dispatch.

  • If your perishable item arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 48 hours with your order number and clear photographs so we can put it right (replacement or refund as appropriate).

10.4 Faults or damage in transit

If an item is faulty or damaged on arrival, we will repair, replace or refund according to your statutory rights. Please retain all packaging for courier inspection where requested.


11. Substitutions

To maintain quality and timely delivery, we may substitute natural decorative elements (e.g., cones, orange slices, ribbons) with alternatives of equal or higher value if a particular component is unavailable.


12. Product care & safety

Follow any care guidance provided (keep cool, mist lightly, avoid direct heat). Natural decorations can include dried botanicals and wires; keep out of reach of small children and pets. Outdoor use is recommended for optimal freshness unless stated otherwise.


13. Promotions & discount codes

Promotions are subject to their own terms, cannot usually be combined, and may be withdrawn without notice. Discount codes must be entered at checkout; we can’t apply them afterwards.


14. Gift messages & custom orders

We may offer gift notes and limited customisation. Custom orders may require full payment in advance and are non-refundable once work begins unless faulty.


15. Wholesale & trade

Trade/wholesale orders (including bulk foliage and trees) may be subject to separate terms (lead times, pricing, delivery schedules). Please contact us for details.


16. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • losses not caused by our breach;

  • business losses (loss of profit, revenue, contracts);

  • delays outside our reasonable control (see Force Majeure).
    Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any rights that cannot be excluded by law.


17. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (extreme weather, strikes, courier disruption, pandemics, etc.). We will notify you and take reasonable steps to minimise impact.


18. Privacy & cookies

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. See the footer links to manage your cookie preferences.


19. Intellectual property

All Website content (text, graphics, logos, photos) is our property or used with permission. You may not copy or use it without written consent.


20. Third-party websites & tools

We aren’t responsible for the content or policies of third-party sites linked from our Website (e.g., couriers, payment providers).


21. Complaints & dispute resolution

We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Contact info@finneganchristmaswreaths.com with your order number and details. If we can’t resolve a complaint, you may be able to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) schemes or your local Trading Standards.


22. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland (or United Kingdom, choose your preference). Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that territory.
